Be aware of hypocrisy!

Luke 12:1 Meanwhile, when a crowd of many thousands had gathered, so that they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples, saying: “Be on your guard against the yeast of the pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 2 There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. 3 What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.

When many thousands of people gathered, Jesus first said to His disciples to be on guard against the hypocrisy of the pharisees. Because it is easy for them to live a life of hypocrisy in front of the audience.

Hypocrisy is to speak and behave differently inside and outside and when one is alone and before the audience and before the family and the guests.

Jesus had no difference in His mind, thoughts, words and behaviors, whether hi is alone or in front of several people.

In order to live like Jesus, we need to always be aware that God is in front of us and think, speak and behave. If we live like that, though everything is revealed and told and our words are spread in a bright place and over the top of the roof, we will have no shame.

Shalom and God bless you!
