We should always humble our hearts (Lk 16:14-18)

16:14 The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering at Jesus.
15 He said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts. What is highly valued among men is detestable in God’s sight.

There were people who did not listen, though Jesus said something. They were Pharisees who loved money.

They claimed that they were right and wanted to be highly valued, but God detested them.

In their hearts which are full of greed, there’s no place for Jesus’ words to enter.

Therefore, we need to empty our hearts and receive Jesus’ words as it is.

God’s kingdom is already opened. Those who obey have the privilege to enter it. (Verse 16)

If we accept and obey Jesus’ words with humble hearts, we can receive eternal blessings of participating Jesus’ glory.

Shalom and God bless!
